The company
The Wholesale Paint Group is one of the largest independent paint suppliers in North Queensland.
We service both the trade and public, with branches in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and Gladstone.
The Role
Based at our head office in Cairns you will be working as part of a close knit team and will be responsible for the groups entire debtors operation. This will include the accurate processing of daily customer payments, processing incoming emails relating to billing and invoicing, communication with customers about billing discrepancies and questions, processing monthly statements, initiating collections on past due accounts, processing and checking credit applications and reporting to management on all debtor related issues.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to liaise confidently with both internal and external stakeholders so clear and confident communication skills are a must. You will ideally have at least 5 years accounts receivable experience.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with customer service and client communication are also a must, with IT trouble shooting skills, although not necessary, highly regarded.
This is a full time, 38 hour, Monday to Friday (7:00 am to 3:00 pm) position, with a three month probationary period.
