Located on St Kilda Road, in a stylish and contemporary office with uninterrupted views of Albert Park and the bay, we are a modern and dynamic boutique accounting practice, offering services in: Advisory (Business Services, Taxation, Superannuation, Retirement and Estate Planning), Strategy and Efficiency, Outsourcing, Transaction Support, Assurance, Bookkeeping and Human Capital.

Our client base ranges from Small to Medium Enterprises to large privately held companies, with operations located throughout Australia and offshore.

About The Role

This excellent opportunity has become available due to the company's continued strong growth. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment, your day to day responsibilities will vary (given that no day is ever the same in our firm) and may include:

• Client consultation (providing clients with technical, commercial and strategic advice)
• Complete (and review) complex statutory compliance work for Individuals, Trusts, Partnerships, Companies and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds
• Managing, training and developing junior staff members
• Qualifying and identifying the needs of both existing and new clients

The successful candidate

• Relevant tertiary education (Bachelor Degree) and CA/CPA qualification (or near end of completion)
• Excellent technical knowledge and skills
• Previous experience in a similar role/capacity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people (internal/external stakeholders)
• Self-motivated, high energy levels with an ability to motivate and inspire others
• Exposure to various accounting packages (MYOB is of preference)
• Professional and ethical
