As our Junior Tax Accountant you will get exposure to all areas of tax and assist in the preparation of News Corp Australia's tax compliance obligations, supporting the tax function and our internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, accurate and timely tax compliance. We will need you to ensure compliance of the group by maintaining your knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations. You will assist in the preparation of all tax compliance (Income Tax, FBT, GST) and other taxes as required. You will provide accurate and timely tax filings, and information to the finance team in Australia and New York.

You will bring with you your existing Taxation and analytical skills along with your strong attention to detail. To be a success you will need to be flexible, diligent and hardworking, you will possess a real enthusiasm and drive to learn and progress. A real team player, proactive and a good communicator, your tenacity, inquisitive nature and ability to think outside the box will ensure success in this role.
Essential being successful is your experience in dealing with tax in either a professional services and/or commercial environment. We would love for you to hold the relevant qualifications and preferably have completed or be on your way to completing the CA or CPA program.
