Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role provides accounting support to the record labels, publishing and booking agency arm,and will be the key contact
for any day to day accounting enquiries. You will be liaising with non-finance people on a daily basis in this role and your key responsibilities will be as follows:

• Daily Bank Reconciliations for all entities
• Preparation and importing of sales data and generating
  monthly management reports
• Analysis of revenue drivers and highlighting risks or issues
• Generating sales invoices and debtor chasing
• Prepare and submit of quarterly BAS statements for all entities
• Assisting with end year FBT returns
• Maintenance of asset register for the group
• Yearend check and balances and journal entries when required
• Reviewing and processing of monthly overheads and adjustment journals
• Assist with cash flow reporting for record labels

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:

• Degree qlfd with a minimum of 2 years Assistant Accountant level experience
• Demonstrated financial accounting, reporting, analysis & reconciliation skills
• Great people skills and communication skills
• A team player with a great work ethic & customer service focus
• Pro activity and high attention to detail and accuracy
• Personality and a passion for the industry
• Ability to meet deadlines and build reltionships
• Strong Excel and MYOB skills ideally

City fringe location
Hours 9.30am -6pm
 $60 - 65 K plus super (neg)
