Assistant Accountant 3 month contract Potential permanent position North Sydney
Your new company
Our established and well regarded Education Body based in North Sydney currently require an Assistant Accountant for an initial 3 month temporary contract, with the possibility of further extension and even permanency.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager the core duties of this position include managing, processing and reconciling all transactions coming in from a number of revenue streams, review all general ledger accounts, amend and report on all anomalies, journal entries, budget preparation, produce financial statements and carry out a number of reports through excel.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to have experience as an Assistant Accountant and ideally be CPA Part Qualified. In addition it is essential that you possess strong attention to detail and effective communication skills liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
