About the Role
We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to support the taxation compliance services for the ANZ Division.
Reporting to the Chief Financial officer, this role will support the preparation of of tax effect accounting entries and consolidation of Probe Group and related entities group tax effect accounting for statutory and internal reporting.
Key delivery areas will include:
- Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns and other tax related statutory documentation for entities in the ANZ Division, including calculation of tax payments and transfer pricing documentation.
- Preparation of tax effect accounting entries for entities within the ANZ Division, statutory reporting and any other periods as required;
- Consolidation of Probe Group group tax effect accounting entries and preparation of tax disclosures for Probe Group statutory accounts.
- Co-ordination and oversight of calculation of quarterly management service fees and charge to global subsidiaries.
- Preparation and lodgement of GST, FBT, PAYG and Payroll Tax returns.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Preferably CA/CPA with generalist tax experience, gained in a corporate or Accounting firm, in a corporate tax specific function
- Experience working with complex corporate income tax issues, including Controlled Foreign Corporations’, tax consolidation, foreign tax offsets
- Well developed technical tax analysis skills
