Global Accounts Payable Officer

The role
Lovisa is seeking a Global Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance team. You will be reporting to our Financial Controller. This is a great role for someone with previous AP experience who enjoys a fast paced environment with global exposure who enjoys working with the various departments of the Support Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable functions for all trade and sundry creditors (including overseas), ensuring that only authorised invoices are paid. These functions include coding of invoices, managing due dates to ensure no late payments, liaising with suppliers, and managing EFT payment runs.
- Maintain aged creditors and reconciling to the general ledger at month end.
- Month end duties include
- Bank reconciliations for Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, and support to other countries when needed
- Trade creditor reconciliations for Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, and support to other countries when needed
- Filing daily paperwork, reconciliations and other documents used in an orderly manner to enable efficient retrieval if required.
- Manage accounts inbox and correspond to internal and external stakeholders
Your Skills & Attributes
- Excel – Intermediate level
- Microsoft office products
- Various accounting programs including Great Plains
- Retail accounting experience desirable
- An understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Demonstrate effective levels of innovation, e.g. data analysis skills
- Some understanding of best practice finance IT systems
