We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join a well know firm who provide a full range of Accounting and Financial Services to SMEs, both in Brisbane and nationally. 

This role will work as part of a small team reporting to the Partner and will be responsible for: 

• Financial accounts
• Tax returns - trust and company 
• BAS 
• Superannuation funds accounts and tax returns 
• Fringe benefits tax returns 
• Entity structure maps and tax summaries 
• Client tax interviews 
• Communication and provision of advice to clients 
• Some audit work 

We are looking for an intermediate level Accountant with at least 2-3 years Business Services experience. You will also have: 

• University degree (Accounting/Commerce or equivalent) 
• Demonstrated experience with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns across all entities 
• A high level of verbal and written communication skills 
• Experience with accounting software ideally MYOB AE and Xero 
• Proficient in MS Excel 

SMSF and/or audit experience will be highly regarded.

Salary will be dependant on experience.
