Fantastic opportunity has arisen for an investment finance business partner to join the largest national logistics company located in the heart of Sydney. This is a senior commercial role seeking a technical individual to contribute to the strategic decision making process by analysing and assessing current and prospective investments.

Our client is a national leader in supply chain and logistics solutions within the B2B space. They specialise in the collection and issuing of logistics products to help manufacturing clients distribute goods around the nation. With ongoing expansion and acquisitions, they are actively seeking a Investment Finance Analyst to join the team to assist with financial modelling and investment feasibility analyses.
Description
Reporting to the Head of Investments, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and formulate effective financial models and templates to assess the financial and commercial feasibility of new and existing investments and contracts
- Update benchmark financial and pricing assumptions as utilised in financial models
- Act as the key point of contact on the Investment Committee to conduct risk analysis and valuations for various high-value investment proposals
- Support the preparation of an investment manual in line with listing standards for the Board
- Provide key support and advice to senior stakeholders on investment selection and decision making processes
- Business partner to project managers and non-finance stakeholders to effectively influence strategic processes through sound interpretation of analyses findings
- Conduct market, industry and related risk analysis and assessments as needed
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Financial modelling and investment analysis experience, essential
- Extensive business partnering experience, essential
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong financial understanding of cash flows, P&L, financial models and metrics
- Experience working in project, infrastructure, or property (development) finance, preferred
- Proficiency in TM1, preferred
- Superior communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
