Our client has experienced sustained growth in the Australian market over recent years and is currently seeking to appoint a talented and passionate Senior Financial Accountant. This company offers a highly collaborative team culture and flexible work arrangements.
The role:
This role will suit a technically strong Financial Accountant with a passion for investigating and uncovering discrepancies.
- Review monthly reports prepared by the finance team and providing commentary and analysis;
- Prepare complex multi-entity consolidation;
- Support Statutory Reporting team by providing accounting assistance and mentoring to the wider finance team;
- Review regulatory requirements such as Tax and statutory reporting prior to submission;
- Assist auditors during the half year and annual audit season;
- Ensure effective planning for financial reporting requirements;
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Assist with a 'Continuous Improvement' program with Finance, in process improvement and streamlining reporting processes.
The Successful Candidate:
- CA/CPA Qualified;
- Ideally you will have experience working for large corporates;
- Excellent working knowledge of accounting concepts and principals;
- Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with the ability to clearly communicate both written and verbally;
- Must have experience from multi-national businesses and a highly team-oriented approach.
