Client details
Our client is a leading ASX listed organisation with growing operations across APAC. This organisation has experienced consistent year-on-year growth for the past 5 years and as a result, new opportunities have been created within the team. The business is going through an exciting time of growth and as commercial finance manager, you will be contributing to the growth & success of the business. In your role as commercial finance manager, you will be tasked with leading, motivating & developing a team of 4 analysts whilst also providing key decision support to the business.
Role profile
This role will play a pivotal part in driving strategic initiatives and providing decision support on new projects. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be tasked with the following:
- Overall responsibility for revenue and cost management for the business
- Lead, inspire, motivate and develop a team of analysts to create a high performing culture
- Support with key business initiatives through creation of complex financial models, providing recommendations and translating complex finance to non-finance stakeholders.
- Provide detailed commercial analysis, sensitivity and scenario testing for high value business cases.
- Contribute to the 3-5 year strategic plan through the analysis of financial implications and viability of new commercial initiatives
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects
Candidate profile
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following.
- CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified or equivalent.
- Possess high level of oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and presentation skills including action plan development
- Have excellent problem solving ability, analytical skills and ability to management competing issues and work to tight deadlines
- You will possess outstanding stakeholder management skills as well as demonstrable experience in customer service
- Proven experience in leading, motivating and developing a team.
