The Firm
The firm is a national association of full service accounting, audit and advisory. They have a strong reputation for providing quality advice to a range of privately owned corporate and public organisations with a particular focus on the middle market. The firm has offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide.
The Role
You will mainly be looking after the taxation and financial compliance needs of pharmaceutical clients. You will interact with Partners, Directors, Managers and other Accountants.
Some of your duties will include:
- Income tax planning and restructuring
- Management accounting, including budgeting , forecasting and KPI development
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Business restructures
- Business planning and strategic planning
- Business acquisitions and disposals
- Financing, structuring and returning profits to business owners
- Succession planning
- Fringe benefits tax returns
- Liaison with the Australian Taxation Office, including lodgement program management and tax debt management
- IAS's, BAS's, Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all entity types
The Individual
A suitable candidate will possess the following:
- 4+ years' experience in business service
- Completed CA/ CPA qualification
- Experience or interest in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Productivity expectation of 85%
- Strong knowledge in MYOB and Xero
- Familiar with MYOB Accountants Enterprise, BGL
- Exceptional knowledge in Excel
