The role:
 
This is a great opportunity for a highly proficient Payroll Officer with experience in Micropay Meridian and ConnX. You will join a team of Payroll Officers in the National Head Office, based in a great location in the North-West of Sydney and working together to carry out the company’s payroll function. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, proactive individual who has a thorough understanding of all aspects of payroll and a desire to become a valued member of the payroll team. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Fortnightly and Monthly end-to-end payroll processing
  • Providing a high level of service to internal customers
  • Liaising with various internal departments to solve payroll queries
  • Accurately processing payroll and answering queries in accordance with relevant industrial awards, EBAs and employment contracts
  • Maintaining the ConnX system and accurate record keeping
  • Assisting with month end reporting
  • Setting up new employees
  • General administrative and record keeping duties
It is essential that you: 
  • Have a minimum 5+ years of experience working in Payroll
  • Have experience in end to end payroll using Micropay Meridian 
  • Have experience using ConnX
  • Have a high level of computer competence, specifically advanced ability in Excel and Word
  • Have an acute eye for detail 
  • Maintain excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Have excellent verbal & written skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Are a team player
  • Value the importance of confidentiality
