This growing engineering organisation require an additional Accounts Officer to join the team. You must have several years experience within both AP & AR. A good understanding of large ERP systems will also be beneficial due to a recent implementation. This is expected to commence within the next 2 weeks with potential to become a permanent role in a few months time.


Duties:

• Accurate data entry processing in a timely & efficient manner
• Processing invoices & matching POs
• Handle supplier queries in timely manner
• Set up vendors & resolve discrepancies
• Bank reconciliations
• Creditor follow-up on overdue accounts
• Match receipts with credit card statements
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by the Accounts Supervisor

  
Skills & Experience Required:

• Several years within a similar role 
• Experience using an ERP system is desirable
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• High accuracy skills and attention to detail
• Good team player
