We currently have an opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full time Accounts and Administration Officer.
This Role will be diverse and the responsibilities of the role include:
- Administration and processing of the Xero Accounting System of the accounting, wealth management, and related entities on an ongoing basis
- Administration and processing of the Xero Payroll System on an ongoing basis
- Assisting the partners in the human resources functions of the business
- Administration and preparation of statutory requirements including BAS, IAS, superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation, and similar matters.
- Debtor management, including ongoing and regular contact of debtors to ensure timely payment of overdue accounts
- Administration of the ATO lodgement requirements of the practice in relation to all client returns, and lodging client returns with the ATO
About You
To be considered for the position, you must possess relevant qualifications, skills and experience in the following key selection criteria areas:
- Detailed experience with Xero, and Xero Payroll is essential
- Experience in a similar accounts role (preferably within an accounting practice)
- Experience in human resources related matters
- Communication and negotiation skills in relation to debtor management
- Computer literate including advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
