We are an established & growing accounting practice based in the Eastern suburbs, providing the fully integrated services in areas that include accounting, assurance and advisory, tax, business management for a large range of clients consisting of individuals and small to medium businesses.
We are looking for an experienced Full Time Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Data entry & bank feed management
- Preparation of BAS & PAYG
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Payroll & Superannuation (STP)
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has:
- Solid bookkeeping with a minimum 2 years experience in an accounting practice
- Efficient in the use of Xero is essential. Other accounting programs would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in both a team environment and autonomously
- a Can Do attitude
Salary negotiable commensurate with experience.
