Chandler Macleod are currently seeking another experienced Accounts Receivable Officer for our client based in Dandenong with a minimum amount of exposure of Payroll and fleet management. This is a permanent full time role 7.30am- 4.00pm. Competitive salary is on offer $60K plus super
Required Tasks-
Daily monitoring and chasing overdue debt
Releasing and putting customers on stop credit
Credit limit reviews
Processing new account applications
• Trade References/Equifax reports/ASIC reports
• Setting up new accounts once approved by Credit Manager
• Email new account letter/Communicate to staff
PPSR registrations
Account reconciliations
Customer database maintenance
Receipting and allocation of customer payments
Providing copy invoices/statements
Request & Maintain insurance cover for Debtors
To be successful in this role you MUST have-
Proven experience in ACR AND Payroll
Pleasant telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Assertive yet tactful
Detail orientated - with ability to follow through
Planning and organisational skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent written and communication skills
Confidence in decision making
Competent Excel Skills
Basic General Ledger understanding - journals etc
Team Player
Appreciation of debits and credits / journals etc - to be used for instance in month end reconciliations
Some awareness of FBT
Familiarity with different State Awards and EBA’s
