About the role
The Mackay Show Association are looking for a finance officer to take charge of the financial health of our organisation by administering accounting operations.
The successful candidate will be familiar with audits, invoicing and budget preparations and also a demonstrated interest in managing account activities, including payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable. Having excellent organisational skills and being able to handle time sensitive tasks will be an advantage.
Ultimately the successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day management of the Association's financial transactions and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Finance Officer
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Excellent Analytical & Numerical Skills
- Sharp time management skills
