About the role
These roles have the fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of the financial reporting and analysis for a new multi-billion dollar project that is ont he horizon. It will be providing financial control and analysis to the PMO in the form of timely, effective management reporting and analysis to support the bids team to make effective decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Risks and opportunities analysis
- Measuring costs, efficiencies and performance of products
- Creating and approving all project-related billings and preparation of invoices on monthly basis
- Preparation of monthly management reports and dashboards to the senior leadership team
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis such as cash flow analysis
- Security bonding capacity forecasting
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis relating to forecast P&L and cash flow impact of major bids
- Month end journal entries
- Payroll mapping and expenses allocation
- Overseeing leases, backlogs, BAS returns and general account maintenance
- Quarterly results preparation and presentation
About you
You will be an eager and motivated junior to mid-level Financial Analyst preferably with a few years projects experience within an infrastructure, constructions, engineering or utilities company. Experience with broad financial accounting and analysis is a MUST.
Ideally you will be CA or CPA qualified with a background in strong financial controls and reporting. You will also have:
- Strong communication skills and proven business partnering experience
- Exposure to non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills including business case and scenario modelling
- Engaging and driven personality with a desire to succeed and add value
- Proven relationship building skills across departments
- Up to date financial and mangement reporting knowledge including written presentation and data visualisation skills
