The Business

A large suburban firm, part of a multinational network. They have 8 Principals that form the Executive leadership team and a staff of circa 40. They offer multiple service lines including Tax Accounting and Business Advisory services, Wealth Management and Insurance.

This practice and it's client base are both well-established and long standing for over 40 years. The client base for this portfolio and team are made up of a diverse range of SME's across industries that include Manufacturing, Trades & Labour, Hospitality, Retail, ICT & Telecoms etc. The culture at the firm is one with a corporate structure but very much a friendly, family orientated feel to it and one that rewards and encourages high performance. The Role 


In the Audit team, responsibility is given as a result of demonstrated capability

Your duties will include:

• Assist with coordinating and reviewing the audit processes for large and complex jobs
• Preparation of annual financial accounts
• Preparing the audit file for Partner review.
• Assist the presentation of findings and discuss issues with Audit Committee.
• Assisting with the Partners / Managers with ad hoc special project work
• Direct and supervise junior staff members

About You

To be considered for either role you must have:

• 2+ years experience in Audit within an Australian accounting firm
• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
