Job description:
About the Role
Reporting to and working closely with the National Business Analyst as well as business leads, the Business Analyst is responsible for identifying initiatives in capturing wealth-creating opportunities that lead to the delivery of business targets. The role will work heavily with existing ERP and data warehouse systems to improve reporting and present data in new and simplified ways.
As a member of the Commercial Team the Business Analyst is responsible for improving the performance of the business by providing commercial direction, advice, insight and support where required whilst ensuring compliance with relevant policies & procedures. The role also helps deploy and facilitate the sharing of best practice across the ARC Commercial team.
To be successful in the role the right candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in accounting and preferably be CPA / CA qualified. As this role provides business wide support you will understand the importance of building and influencing key relationships.
Similarly, given the complexity of the role you will require a proven track record in identifying and understanding key drivers in a commercial environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to add significant value through your commercial support and contribute to the performance and strategic direction of the division.
