Description
Reporting through to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing high quality reporting and analysis, while engaging with senior operational stakeholders to provide critical insights and influence commercial outcomes. Your key responsibilities include but not be limited to:
- Providing month end analysis with commentary
- Posting accurate monthly journals
- General ledger reconciliations
- Managing the Fixed Asset register
- Preparation of monthly forecasts
- Assisting with annual budget preparation
- Preparation of monthly reporting, including actual results, variations from budget, full year forecast results and KPI reports
- Engaging with operational managers to evaluate commercial decisions
- Identifying and executing process improvement opportunities
- Establishing relationships outside of finance to deliver analysis and commentary
Profile
To succeed in this role you will have completed your CA or CPA qualification. You will have a strong tax background, ideally from Big4 or a mid-tier firm in a business services role or in corporate tax with a large organisation. You must have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working within strict deadlines. Great communication skills both written and verbal are key, as you will be dealing with many different stakeholders outside of the finance department. Advanced excel skills are a must and experience with SAP would put you at an advantage.
