Permanent, full-time position available for Management Accountant, located 3 hours west of Melbourne
Your new company
This exciting and innovative agricultural business has an excellent reputation both locally and throughout the country. Their work directly increases the productivity and profitability of farms. Due to some internal movement, an important opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team and provide accounting support by liaising with key people in the business.
Your new role
Reporting to the Plant Operations Manger, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to: financial month end processes for the projects, analyse actual result to budget and forecast providing commentaries on these variances. You will utilise your strong analytical skills to help initiate and drive process and systems improvement work. This organisation are focused on getting better results from their system and you will be a key driver in this.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be CA/CPA or equivalent qualified with demonstrated experience in a similar management accounting role ideally within an agribusiness or manufacturing environment. You will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to partner with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation. Your high level of initiative and the ability to manage complex issues when they arise will set you apart from the competition.
