An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Analyst to join our Sydney Head Office.
Purpose Statement
This role is pivotal in the execution and processing for promotional activity enacted in the market place. As the link between the trade and payments teams, this role ensures 100% accuracy between in market activity, system promotional deals and claims processing confirmation
Key Accountabilities
(a) Process Online claims and Deferred payments, through thorough review ensuring rates and volume align with planned activity
(b) Ensure Sales deals are accurately recorded within the system and that all deals communicated with retailers follow company agreed procedures
(c) Be the conduit with Marketing and Payments team to clear any pricing claims that occur in a timely manner
(d) Assist in the month end process, through month end journals that accurately reflect in month activity (accruals) and clearing of online claims
(e) Responsible for preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations (accruals & claims)
(f) Assist in updating latest forecast activity into system as part of the ongoing Full Year latest profit estimate process
(g) Key liaison between Marketing and Payments team in ensuring activities are actioned timely, consistently and accurately
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Preferably degree qualified (Accounting / Commerce)

2+ years experience working within a Finance function team

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel and powerpoint

Familiar with accounting systems (SAP)
