This leading financial services firm are currently recruiting an SMSF Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis in the Sydney, CBD.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Managing the SMSF return program
• Completing annual returns and supporting documents
• Overseeing daily reconciliations and investigating/resolving issues as they arise
• Liaising with advisers, accountants and auditors
• Special projects including, but not limited to, tax reporting and testing new technology
• Assisting in general portfolio administration duties
• Being involved in the testing of proprietary SMSF technology

Skills and experience

• Skilled across BGL/Class
• Minimum 4 years in SMSF administration
• Holding a formal Accounting qualification
• Strong awareness of June 30 2017 superannuation reform changes
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and personal values
• Has great energy and motivated to grow themselves and the business
• Being a registered tax agent would be an advantage
