An opportunity exists for an experienced, dynamic Financial Controller for our multi-franchise dealership in Darwin.
This role is available due to an internal promotion. You will be joining a dealership that has been a part of the Darwin community for the past 30 years and who has grown to be a major player in the market.
Primary Responsibilities
You will have an impact on the Business through success in your role through your ability to identify and implement initiatives to ensure financial systems, processes and controls embedded within the Business.
- Regularly review financial progress results with the Senior Management.
- Closely monitor daily operations and implement plans to address budget variances.
- Reporting to the General Manager, you will perform a pivotal role in the day to day administrative operations of the Dealership.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified CA/CPA or equivalent with significant financial management experience in the motor industry and possess an appropriate balance between people management skills and technical skills for the position.
- Experience within contract management incorporating multi-disciplinary teams such as HR, IT, Finance and procurement is essential.
- PENTANA experience essential.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and an ability to be adaptable in a high paced and changing business environment.
