Ambition are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an SME that are currently experiencing an extended period of growth. You will be joining permanent basis and be based in Ultimo.

This organisation has been showing consistent growth and is now looking to add a Management Accountant to their close knit, high performing team. You will be joining a culture and leadership team that are huge on investing in their staff, whether that be through further training or incentives and rewards. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing insight and support to the wider business.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of month management reports including variance analysis
- Cash flow analysis
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets
- Preparation and payment of Quarterly VAT
- BAS, PAYG and Payroll Tax
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives
- Ad hoc, project based work as given by leadership

The ideal candidate will have completed or near completion their CA/CPA qualification. Your experience will be in a similar position within an SME business or an individual looking to make their first move out of a small chartered firm in a business services role. Communication skills are key in this role given the vast amount of stakeholders that you will be dealing with.
