Our longstanding and valued client in Hawthorn is seeking an experienced and motivated Bookkeeper/Accounts officer to commence on a permanent full time basis in their office in Hawthorn.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the Managing Director as well as undertaking; end-to-end Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll (end to end)(including relevant awards, super etc). You are also required to undertake the monthly/quarterly BAS reconciliation, pay PAYG/ payroll tax as well as the job budget analysis and reporting. the role is not limited to month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. It is essential that you will prepare end of financial year documents for external accountant and send yearly payment summaries to all employees.

The successful applicant will have superior written and verbal English communication skills to enable them to liaise with a number of clients. They will also be self motivated, be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to problem solve. You must MYOB experience and have a good understanding of MS Excel as well as adhoc admin duties, so you must be flexible to undertake and action any task required by your manager.
