Our well respected client requires an enthusiastic and professional Senior Credit Controller who has extensive experience to join a friendly and hard working team based at their Head Office in the south eastern suburb of Clayton. This opportunity has arisen due to business restructure and will see you working closely with the Financial Controller and Assistant Accountant in a professional and dynamic environment within a small and friendly team finance team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Credit claims
• Pricing
• Providing back-up in processing supplier invoices, credits and payments
• Assisting in reporting process (monthly & annually)
• Fixed asset maintenance
• Month End duties
• Processing customer rebates
• Managing the recovery of debt
• General ledger reconciliations
• Conducting credit reviews of all new and existing customer accounts
• Reviewing and processing customer credit claims and credit notes
• Report preparation for Financial Controller 
• Ad-hoc tasks as requested by your manager

To be considered for this position: 

You must have at least 4-5 years experience in a full function AR role. It is imperative that you have worked with SAP system, have intermediate to advanced with MS Excel. The successful applicant will have well developed interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication. We are seeking a person who goes above and beyond and is not afraid of getting on the phone and building relationships as well as chasing debt. Experience in an all encompassing Accounting role will be looked upon favorably.
