Role Overview
Reporting to the Payroll Manager this payroll officer will see you utilise your previous Payroll and Meridian / MicrOpay experience and will see you involved in the Payroll process from start to finish. The Payroll consists of over 1500 staff members and you will be responsible for calculating and entering of timesheets through to assisting with end of pay reports and monthly reporting. You will be required to respond and resolve pay queries in a timely and professional manner. This role will see you interpret various awards so previous experience in award interpretation is essential.
Responsibilities
- End to end payroll processing for weekly, fortnightly and monthly across multiple sites; 1600 payroll
- Maintaining employee files and records
- Setting up new starters
- Calculating and processing termination payments
- Work with stakeholders across the business and providing excellent customer service
Candidate Profile
The succesful Payroll Officer will need to meet the follwing requirments;
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in end to end payroll
- Manufacturing / building industry experience preferred
- Meridian / MicrOpay experience essential
- ConnX experience desirable
- Time and attendance experience essential
