This client is a global industry leader known internationally for manufacturing excellence and successful long term growth providing goods and services into the construction and industrial segments.
Committed to a global expansion strategy that includes advanced manufacturing and distribution across the region this client is looking to recruit a high energy multi-functional financial controller to join its APAC team based at their Melbourne facility or Perth regional HQ.
Reporting directly to the managing director, this person will be required to provide the APAC business with exceptional financial and business system leadership, displaying sharp commercial instincts.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Delivery of accurate, timely financial and management reporting;
- Ownership of SAP business systems and company procedures;
- Driving business performance and operational efficiency initiatives;
- Ensuring all regulatory and statutory reporting obligations are met (International public listed);
- Analytical support of commercial negotiations, customer & supplier obligations.
- Maintaining a high performance team culture within the finance team with strong communication skills and departmental vision.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate genuine manufacturing/production financial experience within a SAP environment. Well-developed positive leadership style, strong interpersonal and communication skills and well-honed time-management skills. Regular travel will be required.
The right person will have to be CA/CPA qualified with a thorough understanding of SAP and corporate PLC reporting. An attractive compensation package with performance incentives will be negotiated with the right person.
