Senior Accountant 

Due to growth an excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated and client focused team-player wishing to join our specialist advisory firm. 
This opportunity will be attractive to those who wish to pursue a career that will provide exposure to both advisory and compliance services, ultimately allowing them to develop their career towards becoming a trusted advisor. 
You will be working alongside a team of specialists and managers with opportunities to work directly with partners on certain projects.

Key Responsibilities 

• Take responsibility for client portfolio build client relationships
• Apply knowledge of the business environment to identify client focused advisory services
• Train and mentor junior staff members
• Contribute to the ongoing improvements to processes adopted by the firm

The Successful Candidate

• Minimum 3 years' business services experience in a Chartered Firm including:
  - Preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals
  - Reviewing work prepared by bookkeepers or junior staff 
  - Direct client interaction
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major and CA qualified or undertaking the CA Program 
• Attention to detail, the ability to self-review and perform quality control on work papers
• Willingness to learn
• A true drive to become a trusted advisor to clients
