The Company
This is a growing, dynamic retail company with an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable officer to join their team with an immediate start. You will start the role as a temporary employee with the opportunity for conversion into a full-time position.
The Role
You will be reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will be processing full-cycle Accounts Receivable with high attention to detail and strong relationship building opportunities. In this position you report directly to the Management Accountant and will work closely with other departments such as Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Franchising. Your broad skill set will be tested as you perform a variety of accounting tasks including reconciliations, allocations and banking. No two days will be the same as you work alongside a friendly and dynamic team. Other duties will include:
- Full function Accounts Receivable
- Contacting Debtors for payment of accounts overdue
- Daily processing of Banking and Bank Reconciliations
- Processing ad-hoc Credits and Invoices as required
- Meeting Month End Timelines
Your Profile
You will be an experienced, full function Accounts Receivable Officer with brilliant time management skills and the motivation to work independently and as part of a team. As a great collaborator you are able to partner with colleagues in related departments, offering experience in dealing with diverse relationship levels. You have the confidence to negotiate with clients and the business insights to offer workable suggestions for accounts falling into arrears. You relish a challenge and the opportunity to bring your eye for detail and exceptional experience to a growth-focused company.
