Our Client
Our client is a a high-quality boutique firm in Melbourne who seeks a Business Services Manager to join their practice. This role will work with several high-profile clients, including one of Australia's fastest growing businesses. Managing a mid-size team you will work closely with the different Partners and works as the trusted advisor for a variety of clients with an annual turnover between $25million and $1billion.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements for High Net Wealth Families and associated entities including Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and Super Funds.
- Processing bill payments, operating bank accounts, responding to client requests, preparing month and quarterly reports and preparation for meetings.
- Managing junior staff members.
Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years experience gained in business services within a Big 4, mid-tier or boutique firm
- Exposure to mid-large size clients
- Experience managing teams
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards in Australia
- Strong academics, CA / CPA qualified
- Ambitious and self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
