Purpose of the role
Our national Client Monies team is responsible for providing trust accounting and analysis of all trust transactions for the Australian offices, as well as ensuring these transactions comply with jurisdictional regulations and firm policies.
Job description
Core duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing client monies processes;
- Managing completion of client monies workflows in Elite 3e by performing quality checks on data to ensure compliance;
- Advising on any areas that require intervention to comply and meet agreed SLAs;
- Liaising with current financial institutions for the transactional information related to client monies;
- Assisting with the management of internal trust committee meetings as required;
- Liaising and developing relationships with various groups, internal and external;
- Managing compliance with firm's delegated approvals and authorities within 3e;
- Liaising with the firms external trust auditors in specific jurisdictions;
- Performing bank reconciliation;
- Attending to banking.
