Downer Roads is the leading name nationally in Asphalt & Surfacing, providing a variety of services from initial infrastructure projects through to ongoing life cycle maintenance. This opportunity is to join the Roads team in the role of Finance Transformation Manager.
In this role you will be key to the development of finance and administration functions and processes across the group, relying on “best practice” to provide a finance management function that is consistent in all areas across roads, ultimately achieving two main objectives of simplification and standardisation. You will drive the transformation projects from planning to execution and revision, as part of the OneCompany initiative, allowing comprehensive commentary and development to enhance the fiancé capabilities across the broader Roads Infrastructure Services team.
You will have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting/Commerce, Change Management or Project Management
- Hands on experience in high detail and value Finance transformation projects
- Proven track record with large scale project orientated companies, ideally with ASX scale
- Demonstrated and excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex finance and change processes to all areas of the business. Presenting high detailed reporting, with a high degree of attention to detail
- Strong MS Office skills and abitlity to understand Finance system quickly.Experience with JDE advantageous
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Finance for the Roads division, this role will have a remit to modernise the finance function and take ownership of an initiative that is active in the greater Downer business.
