The Company
This CBD based firm has been operating for over 30 years. This 4 partner firm with 40 staff including the financial planning division are looking for their next senior accountant SMSF. The client base and workflow are similar to that of a 2nd Tier Firm, with a supportive, social culture. The 4 Directors believe in strong training and encouraging career progression, while rewarding performance and encouraging a positive office vibe.
The Role
This reputable firm are looking for a Senior SMSF Accountant to join their team. In this position you will focus primarily on SMSF Accounting.
Duties
- Processing of transactions from source documentation into Class Super
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all types of entities
- Preparation of annual return and financial statements, as well as associated compliance documents
- Mentor staff within the team: Review work of junior staff and assist with general queries
- Work with the leadership team to achieve business growth
- Assistance with preparation of superannuation advice to clients as required
In order to be successful you will:
- Have 5-8 years’ experience
- You will have had exposure to SMSF & BGL
- Experience managing a team of junior accountants
