We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager to provide vision, strategy and leadership for the operational finance business unit in Australia.

Senior Finance Manager
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you’ll utilise your expertise across operational finance functions, as you optimise processes and procedures within the accounting, reporting, accounts receivable and payable functions.

You’ll take the lead, managing a team of 4 to streamline processes and implement policy, protocols and procedures, driving our finance team to meet key business goals and objectives. 

Be a key Finance representative on business initiatives for finance deliverables, as you drive your teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

You’ll also

• Improve accounting structures and systems to enable financial accounting & reporting standards.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax authorities, tax advisors on local statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely month close & related deliverables.
• Coordinate, analyse and report on monthly financial performance.
• Review and manage cash-flow/working capital forecast of the Company, ensuring reasonable cash availability and utilization.

What we are looking for:
You'll need your CPA/CIMA qualification, and 5+ years’ experience in MNC and knowledge of GAAP, reporting, tax and regulatory requirements. Advanced skills in excel are essential and with the busy environment, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high transactional environment is required. Skills within systems such as Sabre, Agresso, Concur and SAP are highly desirable. Project management and business process improvement experience is very attractive!.

You'll be working with people from outside of our finance department, so you'll need strong communication skills and an ability to explain your thought process. - And, if you have finance experience within a Travel company, that's a big plus!
