Due to continual growth, we are on the lookout for a proficient Accounts Payable Officer to join our passionate Finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, an amazing opportunity is available to the right candidate looking to challenge themselves and be a part of a dedicated team of professionals.
Your Skills
Our ideal candidate is extremely motivated, displays self-initiative, and has proven experience in Accounts Payable.
Your attention to detail is flawless, you have well developed analytical skills, you are happy to take direction and you work well within a team and autonomously.
Industry background in construction will be looked upon favourably, however if you have the right attitude and accounts payable experience, we would love to have a chat and discuss this opportunity with you.
You will utilize your prior skills and experience to perform the following:
- Matching, Batching and coding of Supplier invoices
- New Vendor set up and database management
- Preparation of weekly and Monthly payments
- Supplier reconciliations
- Acquiring invoice approvals from the relevant managers before posting invoices into the system
- Problem solving invoice to PO discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers on any invoicing queries, payment timing and discrepancies
- Responsible for data integrity /database integrity.
- Adhoc tasks where required
