Reporting to the Director, Finance, your primary focus will be to assess SOX compliance & Risk by reviewing existing controls, and strengthening policies & procedures.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:-
- Meeting with stakeholders to understand processes, identify potential risks and determine possible solutions
- Conducting testing of controls
- Identifying and reporting to management any weaknesses that are identified
- Documenting results, determining outages and corrective actions
- Assisting with the updating of policies and procedures to be controls-compliant
- Preparing documentation required in relation to SOX & JSOX
- Enabling the signoff of required in relation to SOX & JSOX.
To secure this opportunity, you must demonstrate previous experience as an Internal Auditor within a commercial or chartered environment including SOX experience; advanced MS Excel; relevant Degree qualification; certified internal auditor qualifications; and well developed communication skills.
