A 3 month contract as a Financial Accountant, located in the Hobart CBD.
Your new company

Your new role
Due to an increased work load, you’ll be reporting to Group Financial Controller and working in a team. You’ll be providing specialist support and direction to the broader Finance team and also be responsible for performing the following functions;
- Assisting with Preparation of the annual statutory accounts
- Ensure accurate processing of Month end; including both P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations across multiple cost centres
- Management of cash flows
- Ensuring compliance within internal controls
- You’ll also maintain effective relationships across the broader business
- Perform other additional ad hoc finance work as required by the Financial Controller.
What you'll need to succeed
CA/CPA qualified or progressing towards, you’ll be outcome focused and have a proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines. You’ll have well developed communication skills, excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset which lends itself to problem solving. A high level proficiency in excel is also essential, and a working knowledge of a large system like SAP, Oracle, Tech one would be advantageous. You’ll also be prepared to undergo a national police check.
