The Business 
Based in Melbourne's CBD and nearly 80 years old, this organisation leads their market and their products would be used by nearly every Australian on a daily basis. They have a large and progressive commercial finance team and a high performing culture.

The Role
Your new role is due to an internal promotion and you’ll be business partnering one of the biggest product ranges in the business. You will be reporting to a Divisional Finance Director and you will provide decision support to a number of operational teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of 2 qualified finance analysts to present analytical information and insights into trends.
• You’ll be building strong relationships with senior leaders across the business allowing you to act as a key commercial advisor.
• Provide ongoing advice and monitoring of financial and non-financial performance indicators
• Provide information to support the preparation of monthly quarterly forecasts
• Lead longer term strategic planning

Your Background

• Fully qualified with experience in a top tier accounting firm
• At least 4 years experience post qualification, working in industry in an analytical or commercial role
• Available to start immediately 
• Able to show evidence of occasions they have business partnered non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable influencing senior leadership
• Strong excel modelling skills
• Exceptional academic record throughout school and university

This is a genuinely commercial, decision support role and as such it is essential you have exceptional communication skills, particularly the ability to inspire confidence in non-finance leaders.
