Company

This highly recognisable FMCG business is looking for a Financial Accountant to provide technical, statutory, and reporting support for their Group Finance function initially on a contract basis. They continue to build a high performing culture and reward personal performance. This role is replacing an internal promotion.
  
Role & Responsibility

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Statutory reporting and assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts
• Help drive the month end process
• Demonstrate the ability to drive and contribute to process improvement
• Liaise with external auditors and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
• Ad hoc reporting and assisting on projects

Profile

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills and abilities:

• CA/CPA qualified
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a commercial environment 
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding verbal communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work constructively within a team and fast-paced environment
