Crawfords Freightlines (Crawfords) is a privately owned and operated transportation and logistics company with operations in road, rail, sea, and warehousing. Crawfords operates a network of 5 sites across Eastern Australia. Founded in 1999 in Singleton, and now headquartered in Newcastle, Crawfords vision is to be a leading integrated rail and road freight-line marketplace for the mining sector, manufacturing, dangerous goods and agricultural business across the Eastern Australian regional corridor.
Due to an increase in workload we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Support Officer to join our dynamic team at our Sandgate depot for an immediate start. This is a casual role, required two (2) days per week and to cover holiday periods. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with accurate and timely management of debtors and creditors.
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable (over 5 years highly desirable)
- MYOB experience
- Strong skills in data entry, data integrity analysis and reconciliation
- Solid understanding of accounts processing
- General ledger understanding
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and random Drug & Alcohol testing
