A part-time temporary position is available at the Australian Medical Association in Nedlands. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have the background and experience to undertake the following duties:
Assist with payroll and all associated duties.
Receipting payments in the accounting system
Reconcile and balance cash register on a daily basis.
Reconcile draft bank statements. Enter bank fees, credit interest & bank charges etc into Cashbook to ensure balances are up to date.
Distribute invoices for authorisation received in mail.
Raise debtor invoices as required for departments
Raise debtor credit notes for departments as required.
Raise stock credit notes for Medical Products as required.
Collate, reconcile Medical Products stock invoices every month with creditor statements.
Process stock creditor payment runs.
Deal with accounts receivable phone/fax or email enquiries.
Write up cheques & cash received & take to bank to deposit funds.
Monitor & maintain payment plans set up for clients.
General Filing.
Any other accounting duties as and when required.
This position is required to work 2 to 4 days per week for a temporary contract period of 3 to 6 months.
There is some flexibility on the daily hours. The position will commence as soon as possible.
