The Challenge

This is a great role for a Payroll Manager. Unlike many Payroll leadership vacancies in the market, this role will be to take over a very well run payroll function and manage a high performing team. There is nothing broken. As the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the processing of payroll for a high volume of over 800 salaried & waged staff on a fortnightly basis
• Ensuring payroll arrangements comply with EBA’s and awards
• Providing leadership to the payroll team with two direct reports, monitoring their performance and suggesting improvements where necessary
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pay requirements are met e.g. EBA rate changes, STI reviews
• Effectively responding to all payroll related queries, working closely with HR and the broader finance team

The Expertise

• Experience managing payroll teams in high functioning environments
• Sound broad payroll systems experience and the ability to begin work within the next fortnight
