THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Manager, Group Financial Accounting and Audits, this role will be will be responsible for performing group level financial accounting activities, maintaining the general ledgers for a number of overseas entities, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management of statutory audits, as well as playing a key role in the month end close process. The role will suit a high-energy individual who is self-motivated, hardworking and willing to “hustle” to achieve deadlines.
Key Role Responsibilities
Group financial accounting activities are: -
- Preparation of monthly consolidated balance sheet for the group
- Performing monthly translation of balance sheet accounts together with associated foreign exchange reporting
- Preparation of group revenue balance sheet account reconciliations
- Ad hoc group reporting
Individual entity (15+) financial accounting across the globe with activities being: -
- Control of entity general ledgers, including posting weekly and monthly journals (including bulk journal uploads), meeting global deadlines
- Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations, including following-up/resolving any reconciling items
- Compilation of year-end audit files (where applicable)
- Reconciliation of general ledgers to statutory ledgers (where applicable)
- Assist with the management of audits and financial statement preparation
THE SELECTION CRITERIA

- First or 2nd move out of Big 4 or large 2nd tier chartered accounting firm
- CA/CPA fully qualified with 2+ years post qualification experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written)
