An exciting opportunity now exists for an ambitious and professional experienced Senior Accountant who wishes to further develop and expand their career.

The role
The key responsibility of the Senior Accountant role centers on engaging and building long-term relationships with our clients, whilst working closely with the Manager and Partners. Through business advisory; the ability to demonstrate and articulate value of service is the key to our proposition. 

• Reconciling account balances
• Analyzing financial data
• Preparing financial statements and all Tax returns
• Preparing budgets
• Running your own client base with a client facing approach
• Assessing risk
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
• Supervising accounting staff

Skills & Experience required

• 3-5 years experience in an accounting firm essential 
• XERO & Xero Practice Manager experience essential
• Have commenced CA/CPA studies or be CA/CPA qualified.
• Excellent communication skills to be actively involved with clients
• Ability to complete the required tax reporting in a timely manner
• MS Office skills essential
• The ability to manage individual workloads & time frames
