About the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and working closely with the Commercial and Finance teams, the Group Commercial Analyst will provide analytical assistance across the group and business units to support project teams, decision making and business optimisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership, development, maintenance and review of financial models to support investment decisions.
- Preparation of materials and analysis to present transactions to internal investment committees and external stakeholders.
- Assist in preparation of board reports, corporate reporting, and general presentations.
- Maintenance of the overall LINX Cargo Care Group corporate model and participating in the long-term strategic planning process.
About your experience
You will have tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics or Accounting and will have some experience in corporate finance, project finance, investment banking, valuations or business modelling.
Some of your key skills and experience will include:
- Understanding of corporate valuations, financial statements and capital structures.
- Experience building complex Microsoft Excel financial models including integrated three-way financial statements.
- Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior management up to Board level.
- The confidence to proactively research investment opportunities.
- Ability to review and interpret business information provided in various formats.
Ultimately, you will need to be a great communicator, who can collaborate across multiple teams and who has the ability to develop strong business relationships within this diverse and constantly evolving business.
