Global law firm with outstanding reputation on the lookout for an experienced Business Analyst to join the business on an initial 12 month contract basis.

Reporting into the Manager of Business Analytics, you will be required to understand and support the management reporting for the region, including operating results and partner performance. You will partner with key stakeholders (including finance and firm partners) to manage change and new development requests for functional and non-functional requirements. You will work with the Business Intelligence systems to develop new reporting functionality to support the business.

You will also lead stakeholder engagement sessions and workshops to ensure alignment with global standards and processes. In addition you will verify the look and feel of testing output to ensure it meets the requirements of the business. You will also assist in documentation of solutions and develop user documentation and training material.

Finally you will identify opportunities to improve analytics capabilities and improve processes and performance. You will convey clear requirements to technical the technical team. 

To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelors Degree and 5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst with sound understanding of the concepts of business intelligence including data warehousing. You will have a proven track record of turning complex business problems into a clear set of requirements that can be understood by technical and business users. 

Ideally you will be familiar with BI systems and reporting, ideally SSRS and SAP Business Objects. You will have strong communication and presentation skills.  Previous experience working in a legal (or professional) services environment will be highly regarded, as will exposure to Aderant Expert.
